Scott Wright is set to join Birmingham City after a fee was agreed with Rangers.
The Light Blues winger will cost the EFL League One side, who have already added Rangers’ Ben Davies on-loan this week, plus the permanent acquisition of Scotland star Lyndon Dykes, £300,000.
The 27-year-old should depart Ibrox before Friday’s transfer deadline subject to successfully completing a medical and the necessary paperwork.
Rangers manager Philippe Clement has been trying to offload several unwanted players to free up cash for more signings.
